Last Year's Post UTME was never conducted due to the Coronavirus outbreak, therefore the management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has officially released an update about 2021 Post UTME exercise.
Malam Auwalu Umar, (Director of Public Affairs Directorate) in his press release, he stated that the University wil conduct Post-UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 academic sassions.
This statement thereby confirmed the spreading rumor that the admission exercise for the ABU's 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 academic sessions will be merged.
When is ABU Zaria Post-UTME for this year?
The ABU Zaria Post UTME Registration for 2020/2021 has been scheduled to hold from Monday 13th September to 3rd October, 2021.
Ahmadu Bello University's Post-UTME Exercise Procedure
The process required any candidate who has choosen Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as his/her first choice of institution and he/she has score 180 and above in jamb, which is the university's cut off mark for gaining admission into the prestigious university, if you meet the Cut-off then you are required to carry out the following few step to complete your post UTME registration.
1. Visit Ahmadu Bello University Official Post-UTME Portal : https://putme.abu.edu.ng
2. Login to the portal using your jamb registration number as the USERNAME and state of origin as the PASSWORD.
3. Make Payment: Applicants are required to pay the sum of ₦2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only, as the registration fee for the screening exercise.
You can make your payment via REMITA using any acceptable debit card (Visa, Verve, and MasterCard) OR by printing the remita retrieval reference (RRR) slip and proceed to any Commercial Bank to complete the payment. Candidates do not need to visit the University for payment making.
NOTE: THOSE WHO REGISTERED LAST YEAR, DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN SINCE THEIR PAYMENT IS STILL ACTIVE ON THE PORTAL.The date for the screening execise shall be updated on this blog as soon has it is announce, stay tuned and do check back for any new update.
